We live in a day where some men believe that truth is relative. God's Word teaches us contrary to that opinion. Here at Lakes, we believe that our unchanging God has left for us an unchanging Word. Here is a summary of what we believe:

• We believe in the inspiration of the Bible. (II Timothy 3:16)
• We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ.(I John 5:6,7)
• We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 1:23)
• We believe that the blood atonement of Jesus Christ is necessary for the forgiveness of sin. (Ephesians 1:7)
• We believe in the local church and in its dependence under the headship of Christ. (Colossians 1:18)
