Adult Class List

The Art of Spiritual Conversation - 9am

Evangelism is one of the highest values in the church and one of the least practiced. With a fresh perspective and simple everyday practices, any Christian can engage in Great Commission living. Darryl Gross & Bill Petri lead the interactive class that will help you put into practice relational evangelism. Meet with them in the church library and be prepared to interact and engage.

Ambassador Class - 9am

“We are therefore Ambassadors as though God were making his appeal through us” (2 Corinthians 5:20).

The Ambassador Class is taught by Roger Cox and is designed for those who enjoy an expository or explanatory (verse by verse) approach to exploring the Bible.

The class meets in the first floor choir room and is doing a study in the longest and most comprehensive of the Gospels, Luke. Luke, a Gentile physician, builds his gospel narrative around a historical, chronological presentation of Jesus' life presenting Jesus Christ as the Perfect Man who came to seek and save sinful men. You are welcome to study with the class as they see growing belief and opposition to Christ’s claims and see the cost of discipleship.

TNT Class - 9am

Mike Zielinski meets with the college aged "Teens and Twenties" in the PIT on the lower floor.  This class is designed to give our young adults an opportunity to engage and discuss the Bible and learn how to use the Bible to explore and discover answers. We strongly encourage open conversation and discussion throughout class.  We are currently studying the book "Who Do You Think You Are" - a study through Ephesians, by Mark Driscoll.

Young Couples - 9am

Dan & Brittany Magee are heading up the Young Couples class.  Using a small group format helps young couples and families to connect and be an encouragement to each other, as well as dig into the Bible for answers that will impact one another. If this class is for you, join them in the middle classroom on the upper level.

Study in Psalms - 10:45am

No matter how familiar you may be with the Psalms, an incredible amount of information and insight can be gained by the study of this book. The class, led by Stewart Maclean, meets in Pastor Don’s office. They will be using James Montgomery Boices commentary which helps explain the meaning of each text and relates the text’s concern to the church, Christianity and the world in which we live.

12 Ordinary Men - 10:45am

Contrary to popular belief, we do not have to be perfect to do God's work. Jesus chose ordinary men - fisherman, tax collectors, political zealots - and turned their weakness into strength, producing greatness from utter uselessness. Jim Haglund draws principles from Christ's careful, hands-on training of the original twelve disciples for today's modern disciple - you. The class meets in the choir room.

Women’s Bible Study - 10:45am

Rachel Frantz teaches the women’s class in the first classroom on the main level at 10:45. This class will be exploring the book of Hebrews within its historical context. A special emphasis will be placed on the Hugeness of Christ and His Superiority.
