The late teen and college years can often prove very challenging. Young people are challenged to think, search for relationships, and make difficult life decisions. At Lakes, we understand this and desire to provide an environment where young people can not only have relationships and encourage one another during these years, but also understand that God's Word is rich and truly has the answers "...to all things that pertain to life and godliness..." (2 Peter 1:3).
|The college class currently meets on Sunday mornings during the 9am hour, and features a time of fellowship and prayer, followed by a time of Bible study. The group is currently studying "Who Do You Think You Are" - A study through Ephesians, by Mark Driscoll. The class is also offering a mid-week Food & Philosophy meeting the 2nd and 4th Wed. of each month.|
During the course of the year, the college group will get together for various activities. Holidays prove to be an excellent time to gather for a party, such as Christmas or Halloween. Or maybe it is group skating, bowling, or just gathering up at the coffee shop to play cards. Whatever it may be, if you are looking for a group of peers to both be encouraged and to encourage, Lakes may be the place for you.
